Seemed a little expensive at first, but after we got our ice cream. I have to say it's a good deal.
One generous scoop with a waffle cone included? Thank you, I'll be back.
The place has a cool vintage vibe and tables out front to sit at.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 27, 2024
Located on the strip. Cute spot with a diner feel. It was perfect after being on the beach with the kids.
They had a variety of ice cream, soda pop, and treats like cookies and donuts.
I got the sundae with 3 flavors, brownie batter, coffee and banana Nutella. It was covered with fudge, nuts, whip cream and 3 cherries. It was perfect!
The service was great, the made sure the line got down quick by helping each other with customer. We had a large order and they on it!
I recommend this spot!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 19, 20241 check-in
Really nice place to bring the family. Homemade ice cream and you can tell, the flavor is great!
There's plenty of flavor options for any ice cream lover and the ones my kiddos got were great (yes you better believe I'm swiping some from my kiddos haha)

Really cool place with a 50's theme. They let you sample any floors you want and were very accommodating. The Ice cream might be the best I have ever had so went with Black Raspberry with chocolate chunks and the flavor of the month which was delicious as well.

You always gotta save room for dessert...
It's the cutest little retro ice cream shop, with friendly staff. You can definitely tell how good of quality the ice cream is here. The hardest decision to make is what flavor you're gonna choose!

MooTime Creamery is yummy. It's nice to walk around Coronado and then grab an ice cream. I got the flavor of the month, which is raspberry cheesecake. It was delicious, not too sweet and you can actually taste the tartness of the raspberry.
I asked for a sugar cone but because of how the ice cream was mixed she had to put it in a cup and topped it off with the cone. Which is totally fine.
Service was a little slow but there was only one person working on a Thursday afternoon.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 781200Nov 3, 2023
Stopped by for a small scoop of ice cream and was drawn in by the fun diner and cow decor.
I ordered the straciatella - different than what I was expecting... but it was very good!
I stopped by less than 15 minutes before closing and the staff were very friendly and let me take home some mini donuts for free. Made my night, so thank you!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 22, 2024
Delicious selection of ice cream and at certain times of the day, mini donuts. Service was fast and friendly. I had their party cake flavor ice cream which had a lot of sprinkles, good amount of creaminess, and not overly sweet. Excellent.
I noticed some home made ice cream tacos, didn't get to try. Will do so next time.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 16, 2024
We came here awhile back but the ice cream was really good. Their menu has really expanded ever since. One thing that keeps them from getting a good review is the service. The only employee working was constantly on her phone. Very unprofessional. I recommend the owner or management to improve the service and make sure these kids aren't on their phones while on the clock. There was no one else in there. Prices were reasonable though.

I love a good ice cream shop. In fact, anytime we travel we always like to check out the local ice cream spots. So of course it was "Ice Cream O'clock" on our last trip to Coronado Island!
MooTime Creamery is located on the main drag of Orange Avenue in Coronado. About 2 blocks walking distance from the Historic Hotel Del. From the outside, MooTime has a 50's diner feel. In fact, there is an Elvis statue at the front door.
MooTime makes all of its ice cream flavors from scratch. And the quality of the ice cream is very good. They offer scoops, sundaes, smoothies, cakes and pies.
As far as pricing, MooTime is a little bit on the higher end compared to others. A mini moo scoop at the time of this review was $6.25. This is a standard 1-scoop serving. But considering it is a tourist hotspot, it was to be expected.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
