You cannot go wrong hiring YC Photography. We have used Yrsina for many private and corporate events, as well as our professional headshots, and she never ceases to amaze us. She is professional, but fun and silly, and gets everyone to relax and show their best side. She pays attention to detail and gives you great tips to get your best photos. I have happily sung the praises of Yrsina at YC Photography for over a decade to anyone needing a professional photographer for their special moments. I knew my friends and family would immediately be comfortable with her and knew they could trust her with the most important pictures of their lives so they had picture perfect memories. I watched her in action at a close friend's wedding on Shelter Island and then she took amazing pictures of my product I sell on Amazon. I was so thrilled to recommend her to my two sons for engagement pictures and a few years later newborn pictures of my treasured grandbabies. She is especially talented with newborns and some call her the "Baby Whisper" as she somehow gets the most fabulous pictures of them sleeping in baskets and the like delighting all who view them. I can't say enough about Yrsina as she is a fabulous person.

Her eye and artistic flair is apparent in each photo she takes. This was my second time working with her, and I wouldn't hesitate to use her again the next time I need pictures.

Yrsina was not only a pleasure working with, but a true sweetheart! Met in Balboa Park for some family Christmas photos and a few others. Got some of the kid and such while enjoying our time and smiling! Yrsina was very active in getting us great shots so be ready to move around a bit. She did not mind us bringing some of our own items to get shots with to make it more personalized!

We did a family photo shoot which went so well and we were so pleased with the quantity, quality and pricing of the photos. It was easy to set up beforehand, great communication leading up to the shoot, super fun atmosphere and actually got some real smiles out of the kids. Got the photos back super promptly with filters and easy download process. Highly recommend, I will be booking this year over year.

Yrsina is wonderful, I fell like there is not enough space to write my review.

She did my sister's wedding (I was in the wedding party) and she captured every moment beautifully. She got along with both families and directed everyone efficiently.

A few years later my sister had her first child and she did newborn photos (April 2021). Yrsina was so patient, even changing a poopie diaper, and comforting the baby. Her tact was gentle and completely professional. I was amazed by her ability to calm him and bring out a smile.

Now, I am using her for professional headshots. My cousins use Yrsina for all their family photoshoots (and they do a lot).

Ultimately I can say Yrsina is highly professional, very knowledgeable, provides great direction, and captures your best moments. I am looking forward to using her for my own important events.

My husband retired last month after serving 25 years with the US Navy. We had the ceremony aboard the USS Midway and I was looking for a photographer to capture every memorable moment of this special occasion. Yrsina was highly recommended to me.
