My friend and I went to Hotel Del to see the Christmas decor, and singing trees. We decided to grab a bite here afterwards for dinner. It's a cute, quaint, casual pizzeria. There's limited seating inside, but a huge patio seating available. You order at the counter, and they will bring your food to you.
They have a great variety of pizza pies,as well as appetizers and other food options, such as chicken wings and salads etc.
My friend is a vegetarian, so we ordered the Mediterranean pizza pie. We also order the mozzarella sticks. We got a small pizza pie, and it was definitely more than enough for two people.
I'm not a bougie pizza person, but I can definitely tell how good a pizza is based on the quality common freshness of their bread. And I was not disappointed! The bread tasted very fresh, light, and still crispy. It is honestly really good quality Pizza. Also, the service was very friendly and tentative to bring us plates, napkins, etc.
I would definitely go back. If you're hanging around hotel del, or just exploring Coronado Island and want a quick bite, quality food, I would highly recommend this place!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 0155163Feb 21, 2024
A nice little spot in Coronado. Employees were great. I ordered a Sicilian sausage and pepper pizza, pizza knots, an Italian chopped salad. Everything was very good. I think in the future I will ask for extra cheese and garbanzo beans in the salad, just because I like them so much. Refillable soft drinks are available, you just have to go to them to refill which was not a problem at all.

This place was pretty cool. Great location, but parking is hard to find (like most areas).
Pizza, cheese sticks, garlic knots, and salad were fabulous.
The large was enough for 10 people, it was big (and for three) seemed way big. But it was delicious.
Service was good. The place was very busy the entire time. Looking for a place to eat? This place will not disappoint.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 10145135Jul 20, 2023
This pizza was amazing! We had a large group so it was ordered to go and taken to the beach. The pizza we got was huge and people were coming up to us asking to take photos of the pizza because it was the biggest they had ever seen.
The flavor was delicious and there was enough pizza for everyone.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Cora S.San Diego, CA021Apr 25, 2024
Had April's pie of the month - spinach artichoke. One of the BEST pizzas I've ever had. Service was friendly and helpful. Laid back atmosphere. Very comfy. Indoor and our door seating. Street parking is the only downfall. Came for lunch so parking wasn't a problem. Can see that it would be in the evenings and weekends since it is Coronado.

CORONADO, CA / PIZZA / 03-18-23 / DINNER
+Our Bluewater Grill waiter, Tony, recommended this place for dinner.
+The pizza was magnificent.
+The crust was super crispy and the sauce/toppings were delicious.
+The crispy Brussels sprouts appetizer is a must-get.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Kayla G.San Francisco, CA091Apr 5, 2024
This pizza spot was 12/10. The staff is super friendly and quick to pre buss which is nice when dining. The pizza and appetizers are to die for. We got the Billy goat pizza, the vodka doodle doo, the lil vodka roni. Everything tasted great and I'm excited to eat the leftovers. Would highly recommend this place we will for sure be back soon!

Great service, placed 3 orders via online feature, and they were ready for pick-up as soon as I arrived. Kid's pizza is a decent size, very filling. Garlic knots were a bit hard, we left before realizing that we did not receive our kid's drinks or condiment sauces, be sure to check your order before leaving to ensure accuracy. Staff was friendly. Easy to find, street parking is limited. Closes early between 830pm/9pm.

Came here while in Coronado area. Was wandering thru the area looking for a comfort meal and voila VP OG popped up. Menu had variety with regards to slices and full pies ( red or white ). So we elected to stay and order. Ordered a Mediterranean Pizza and a side of Mozzarella sticks. Overall, food came out quick and pie was tasty and crust good. Overall, a good spot for pizza in the Coronado area.
