Gelato Paradiso is one of the better dessert options available at the Headquarters of Seaport Village. They have plenty of gelato flavors to choose from, and they even have sorbet as well. You can choose up to four flavors to mix in your order which is much more generous than other places.

I got a large fruit combination of peach and mango gelato which was so refreshing. I was even impressed by the plastic serving cup in which the gelato was dispensed. It was sturdy and not flimsy cardboard that some places use. You could chose a cone as the serving vessel, and that was pretty sizable too. My overall experience was good enough for me to rate this place with four stars.

Welcome to Paradise!! Hands down the best Gelato I have ever experienced. From all over traveling I have to say from taste, to texture everything is Perfetto!!

Deanna who makes the gelato is the master. She is what makes this place happen, from her kindness to her customer service and sharing her passion on the gelato.

Two days in a row specifically because of her and the gelato.

Gelato is one of those things that always seems like an awesome idea (and it is), but often loses it's excitement about halfway through. This was totally different! They have a ton of flavors here, so you are pretty sure you will find something you like (the mango was awesome). Plus, they were so nice about all of us wanting to sample a few before choosing.

Bonus is that this place counts for Seaport Village validation parking :)

Very delicious gelato! The ladies were very nice in letting us try so many of their flavors. We got 2 cones and a cup for $17.
Small cone is $6, small cup is $5. The sizes to follow go up by $1. My favorite flavors were pistachio, Italian Creme, and tiramisu.

I had my eyes on Gelato Paradiso when I dined at the nearby Puesto once. But I didn't really have the time to check it out then. I am glad I did try their gelato this summer!

The first thing you notice is the sheer number of flavors! There is something for everyone from rich chocolate to tart berries.

I sampled a lot of different flavors of regular gelato and dairy free sorbet. I ended up choosing a small size of peach sorbet and blackberry chocolate chip gelato.

While the peach was refreshing, the blackberry chocolate chip was my favorite. Never knew blackberry and chocolate flavors would work this well together! It was so good I ended up getting another scoop of it. I am not sure if this one is a seasonal flavor, but it is definitely not to be missed!

Service was fantastic! It wasn't busy when I was there and the staff was very generous with their samples.

Store is very small. No seating inside.

Will definitely be back if I am in the neighborhood!

A great spot to grab a sweet treat while walking around San Diego. Find them in the courtyard next to Seaport Village. Grab some gelato to walk around with or have a seat in the courtyard to enjoy.

Several cases of flavors are available to choose from. Even a small size allows for the choice of several flavors. I went with strawberry and pistachio. The strawberry was fruity and refreshing. The pistachio was perfectly flavored too, no holding back on the pistachio taste.

Gelato Paradiso was eccellente. This small shop is located on the inside of the upscale Seaport Village shopping area. Our server explained that gelato is made with less cream than used in ice cream. And the sorbet is like Italian ice and is made without any dairy. You can choose up to four different flavors with any size cup or cone.

We had a large party of eleven, and everyone was wanting to sample different flavors before making up their mind. The servers were helpful and patient. I had a small sorbet with lemon, mango, watermelon, and pineapple. A tart and refreshing treat! My favorites were the pineapple and watermelon. Delizioso!

      Soooo many gelato options!!

We sampled about a million different flavors and the gentlemen behind the counter were so nice and patient about it. I ended up with a small (up to 4 flavors) of double chocolate, dark chocolate hazelnut, and amaretto. It was so good! But don't let the "small" portion fool you - it was a lot of gelato!

      Gorgeous display case!

Took the recommendation of the employee for most popular flavors. We got cherry, espresso, chocolate and hazelnut. They nailed it. The flavors were refreshing and the perfect after dinner treat.

There isn't much space inside the shop but there is plenty of places to sit and enjoy your gelato in the plaza with fountains and people wandering about.

I'm not a big fan of icecream or gelato but my husband has to have it every single day. So when we saw Gelato Paradiso, I knew we'd have to try it.

Although there was a line out the door (good sign), it went by very quickly. There's a huge variety of flavors. I got the large for my hubby in Mango, Pistachio and Dulce de lecce. I got the Hazelnut and Hazelnut milk chocolate for me in the small size.

Everything was delicious! We'll definitely be back every time we're in the area.

If you're in the area and love gelato, you have to try this place out. There are nice seating areas in the large courtyard to chill out.

Get your yummy gelato and sit in the courtyard.
