I don't do much reviews on places but when i do its because i had an amazing time and felt like i was taken care of very well. This was my very first experience on a cruise let alone a boat. When we booked our reservation a lady named Wendy with purple hair helped me out in the best way possible. From her telling me to come early for check in and also informing me there would be an event that may cause road closure was very helpful. If i can give her customer service of a rating more that 5 stars i would very much do so. The food was GREAT! The brisket was the highlight or the cruise. Also i enjoyed the live music and the older gentlemen playing the flute.
I went on a champagne Brunch cruise this morning 3/24/24 and it was more than i expected. The bottomless mamosas were refreshing. Id also like to recognize a server for his outstanding service. Unfortunately i forgot his name but he had blonde hair and eyebrows. He made sure our drinks were never empty! He came to us every 5 minutes to make sure we were okay. I thought that was amazing I will gladly be coming back to this establishment in hopes of wendy helping me out again. Thank you very much to flagship cruises and their staff for giving me an awesome first time experience.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Decided to go for a south Harbor cruise tour on a Saturday morning. There is parking close by, no worries finding the dock or the boats / ships.
I was surprised at how few persons joined us for the experience as we met our captain and pushed off. The guide bypassed the microphone for a more personal touch as he explained our sights in great detail.
There are so many interesting ships and landmarks, and a few sea lions to keep us all captivated.
Flagship is a class act. If you're in the San Diego area, stop in and let them help you explore and learn.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

The short of it, it was a beautiful day in gorgeous San Diego, a nice breeze made for a smooth boat ride with a fun tour guide and a great way to spend a Saturday morning. Honestly, what more could you want or ask for?
There's really not much more to be said.
Prices were reasonable, the boat was clean and in good repair, the weather was on our side, all making the tour pretty outstanding overall. There were no complaints to be made against Flagship and the perfect day made for a great ride that was well worth it. That makes for an easy 5 star review, in my opinion.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

If I could give no stars, I would.
We couldn't get pass buying the tickets.
Thought it was just one girl having a bad day until the other one was the same way. lol I can't see how an employer can have staff working the 1st point of contact with the public to be representing their company. I will refrain from saying anymore and let people see for themselves.
Wish everyone better luck.
On second thought, there's an incredible restaurant right down the way from this place on the water and the food is incredible but most of all the staff is friendly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 5, 20241 check-in
3.5 stars, rounded up because of my mixed feelings for the harbor cruises I took. I did the south and north 1-hour bay tours; I was annoyed by the boring narratives and didn't learn as much as I did while on the duck boat tour (by a different company).
The south tour was the best; I got to see the SD skyline and go under the Coronado Bridge. There was also a ton of military ships to gaze upon.
The north tour was okay because I got to see airplanes take off and land at the airport, as well as witness military jets and helicopters do the same. It got rather hazy by 3 pm so many of my photos did not come out great.
Overall, I would like to try a different event (dining cruise, ferry ride, whale watching, etc) and I hope to be more impressed. The guy sharing facts was spitting out so much information that I actually stopped listening.
Pros:
- smooth ride
- great views
- various tours
- AAA discounts

Every few years I would come on board of the flagship cruises. It's a favorite among various groups of people.
Last Sunday was no different but I learned there is a breakfast brunch cruise. It was a nice ride around the harbor and meeting new friends.
Due to the rain the boat was half full. But the food served on here was fresh!!'
They make fresh omelets!!
The cheesecake was the best for me !

I took the 2-hour harbor cruise, but I wish I would've settled for the 1-hour north bay day cruise. The receipt of the ticket says to arrive 15-30 minutes before the cruise time to check in. They started checking us in and lining us up at 2:45pm for the 3pm cruise. You can either sit inside or on one of the docks for a better view and photos.
The north bay cruise is mostly focused on infrastructure and the history behind it and the south bay tour is mostly military water vehicles and the stories behind their names. I was more interested in the north bay tour has it had amazing views and photo ops of the city and surrounding landscapes, whereas the South Bay tour was mostly about military boats, submarines, and airplanes which I couldn't remember the significance of their names.
One thing I didn't realize is that in between the north and South Bay tours the boat comes back and docks for 15 minutes. Unfortunately, during both times the boat was docked there was an event at the Broadway Pier where I'm assuming local artists performed. The music was very offensive and inappropriate. Obviously, the cruise company had no control over that, but I wouldn't recommend children joining the cruise and being exposed to the obscenity that was surprisingly labeled music.
I think this cruise is a great opportunity to hang and with friends and family while seeing different perspectives of San Diego, but if you're going alone really understand what sitting on the boat for 2 hours means, especially if you choose to sit on the deck where it gets cold and windy.Helpful 2Thanks 2Love this 1Oh no 1 - Nov 13, 2023
Had a great time on our 2-hr Bay Tour this past weekend. Unintentional bonus was that fleet week was going on due to Veterans Day weekend, so we were able to see the Veterans Day boat parade during our tour of the North bay.
Max, our tour guide, was very informative. Can be a tad bit difficult to hear, however you're free to get up and move around the boat and there was plenty of bench sitting around the perimeter. Sidebar: if you didn't get the seat you wanted and you signed up for the 2-hr tour, you'll be able to hopefully snag your preferred seat for the second half while the ships docks and lets others on/off who only purchased the 1-hr tour.
North bay can be a bit more scenic. You'll see seals and the coastal neighborhoods of San Diego - old town, shelter island, harbor island, Point Loma.
South Bay you'll pass under the Coronado bridge and learn about all the different naval ships. Really appreciated Max's knowledge about all the different ships and tips on recognizing each one.
If you have time, I definitely recommend just doing the full 2-hr tour.
Bring sunglasses and a hat that won't blow away. And dress in layers or bring a light jacket. Although it was in the 70s/80s, it can get pretty cold due to the wind.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

Don't think twice about booking this experience!! We had the opportunity to book this during our trip to San Diego and I am so glad we did.
We did the sunset cruise that came with a 5 course meal and it was the best thing ever. The food was great and the service was out of this world! We chose an outdoor table and it got a little cold once the sun went down. It was also very windy and by the end of the night it looked like we had been through a hurricane.... our hair was crazy looking.
I cant wait to go back once again and do it all over, we had a lot of fun! Definitely book this experience if you are looking for something unique.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Jul 20, 2023Updated review
My family and I have a wonderful time on the Flagship cruise. We booked a full Bay tour for 2 hours. The ticket is $38 per adult for both North & South Harbor tour. Our narrator was very informative and knowledgeable. The sound was unclear sometimes, but it was okay. We preferred to enjoy the scenery from the top deck, although it was very sunny but it was such a magical view.
They have a concession stand selling snacks and alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages.
Everyone on the ship was very friendly and professional. It is a great tour if you are visiting San Diego, definitely you will enjoy your timeHelpful 13Thanks 1Love this 17Oh no 0Business owner information

Jul 31, 2022Previous reviewIt is FUN!
I just enjoyed the best 2 hours in our vacation!
The cruise was refreshing , relaxing and really magical!
- Quick information about the cruise:
1 hour for $32
2 hours full Bay tour (North and South) for $37
-The staff was very friendly and courteous.
Tips:
1-From previous experience, take lyft / uber
It is worth it to avoid the chaos of finding a parking spot
2- Arrive early, so you can have the best seat to enjoy the cruise
3- wear plenty of sunscreen. If you are going to reserve the 2 hours take it with you to re-apply
4- They have snacks
5- They have beer and wine. I had ginger beer!
6- Have a good breakfast before the cruise. For some reason, there is something between the sea and feeling hungry!
6- Purchase the 2 hours tickets. It will be fun beside you pay just $5 for the extra hours.
Spending time in this cruise, gives positive energy and you feel fresh and enthusiastic.
